Nganampa Health Council is an Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Organisation (ACCHO) with a national reputation for excellence in research, collaborative program development and professional management.
The clinics are modern facilities staffed by a multidisciplinary team comprising of: Aṉangu Health Workers, Nurses, Medical Officers and supported by Programme Coordinators to provide clinical care to each local community.
Remote Area Nurse Locums relieve our Community Health Nurses when absent from clinics on leave. The length of contracts is flexible, negotiable and can vary between 3 – 8 weeks.
Nganampa Health Council (NHC) requires Locum Registered Nurses and Midwives with current clinical experience and skills, including:
- Acute Medicine
- Accident & Emergency,
- Proven Communication Skills
- Commitment to work as part of a vibrant multi-disciplinary health team in a cross-cultural setting throughout the year.
Transport and accommodation to and from locum placements are covered by NHC. Generous staff allowances with rent-free housing is provided and access to salary sacrifice benefits is available.
